National Webs is a UK (British) based web site which seeks to promote UK based company web sites, public service web sites & private UK web sites.
Why are links important? When someone searches the internet via a search engine (such as Google UK, Yahoo UK or MSN UK search), the search engine uses a variety of factors to decide the position of your web site in the resulting list. One of these factors is how "highly" the search engine ranks your web site. One of the main factors (if not the main factor) determining this ranking, is how many sites link to yours, & how highly the search engine ranks the sites which link to yours. The search engines effectively consider a link to your web site to be a vote of confidence in your site, so links have a positive effect on your sites ranking. National Webs is the new UK links page from Genner (Web Site) Construction and we are actively seeking quality web sites from UK based companies & UK based individuals with whome to exchange links. Prior to accepting links, we obviously need to set down guidelines (eg; we will not link to sites which contain or condone illegal, pornographic or offensive practices or material, & we will not link to sites which promote or condone practices such as spamming, spyware or pop-ups). Additionally, the Genner (Web Site) Construction IT dept reserves the right to visit and assess sites (online) and we reserve the right to decline offers to link to "inappropriate sites". However; we welcome requests to exchange links with quality UK web sites, & are seeking to develop long term relationships. We firmly believe that such a reciprocal link exchange will be mutually beneficial.
